Bohemian Romance

 I came across Free People's bohemian lookbook this afternoon and felt inspired to share it.

While I generally do not dress with this much bohemian influence, I do enjoy touches of bohemian flare here and there.

I really liked a lot of things about the looks in these photographs taken by Guy Aroch.

To start with, I just love Hungarian model, Eniko Mihalik's hair here. I wish I could get my hair to look like that!

 Second, I am loving these hats! I am so glad to see that wide brimmed hats are still in this season.

Oh, and I am in LOVE with that wool looking wrap in the right photograph below.

 This shaw is fabulous! I would love to have this wrap to just lounge around my house in!

 I also love these pheasant dresses with the flat grungy boots. Not to mention I love the blue wrap in the right photograph.

Style Me Spring!

I don't know about you, but I am ready for Spring! 
Here in Texas, spring comes early, and it is right around the corner if not happening now!

And then you have Oscar de la Renta, who I could in no way choose just one favorite!

 I am so in love with this Oscar de la Renta look!

There seems to be a lot of couture ruffles, boxy oversize cuts, sheer fabric, alpha females, and eastern influence going on this Spring.  As you can see I am more into the feminine silhouettes and colors.  I have a hard time when fashion goes in an edgy, hard, or futuristic path because it is not my personal style at all.  I definitely cling to a more earthy, whimsical influence.

Into the Wild...

 It has been quite sometime since I have posted or even been inspired by a fashion shoot. I am not inspired by all the futuristic hardcore editorials I am seeing as of late. But I came across an issue of Cosmo Australia that I loved! It makes me want to visit Australia!

The December issue of Cosmopolitan Australia takes us off the beaten track with model, Robyn Lawley and photographer, Steven Chee.

Elie Saab: Paris Fall 2012

How does Elie Saab do it every time?  I am in love with these gowns!  They are all so stunning and elegant that it was hard to pick just a few to share with you!

 

 

 

I love the feminine elegant vibe of an old era these dresses give.

I get so tired of the bold crazy mismatch prints in the store right now. These gowns are like a breath of fresh air!

Tropic Chic

I desperately need your opinion!  

I want to show you this fabulous dress I bought!  I fell in love with it at the store. 

I got it to wear at my husband's Turning Blue Basic Training ceremony.  

The only problem is that my husband is not a huge fan of maxi dresses.

(Apparently not enough leg showing for him I guess!)

So, as you can see, I am torn. 

Do you think this dress is stunning enough on me to wear it regardless? 

This is slightly amusing and awkward...but I have to make sure I look good because I am apparently up for nomination as best looking wife/girlfriend in the company!  

My husband wants that bragging right!  

So I need your honest opinion!

Is the dress to 'beach resort/loud' to wear normally?
